Josh is extremely knowledable about student loans. He was able to review my situation, make suggestions and help me take the next right steps to move forward. Having someone like Josh that understands the system and how loans work as well as how loans change is invaluable. I'm single. I'm not good wh...en it comes to reading documents and legal files. Mr. Cohen knows everything there is to know about the complicated mess that is our student loan system. He communicates effectively and efficiently, so that you understand what your options are specific to your situation. He pays close attention and advises based upon your particular circumstances, h...e doesn’t simply regurgitate what is on various websites (and much of that information is wrong or so complicated as to be incomprehensible). Mr. Cohen is very respectful and professional. If you feel embarrassed about your student loan issues, don’t worry. You will not get any judgment from Mr. Cohen, only wise counsel. My situation is complicated, but Mr. Cohen is so skilled that in 30 minutes he addressed all my questions and concerns. I have a lot of experience with lawyers (my field of work and a hideous multi-year divorce) and I have never encountered an attorney who communicates so well and so efficiently. His fee is extremely reasonable and well worth it to navigate the student loan minefield.

Atty Cohen was concise, clear, and thorough. We could not navigate all the complexities of our Parent Plus loan. We also were suspect of making any changes to it or falling into a trap/scam of some sort. Atty Cohen in a half hours time, patiently explained our options. I had a very positive experience with Mr. Cohen this afternoon. He provided me with all the information that I was seeking in regards to my Federal Student Loan and repayment options. He also agreed to assist me with an extremely difficult situation that I've been struggling with for almost 6 months ...now. This was in regards to a loan that I took out about 20 months ago to assist me with my huge Federal Loan debt. I wound up having no choice but to leave my employment, and this put me in Breach of Contract. I will Default on this loan on 7/26/2023.
