My case was simple, there were witnesses and the other driver admitted fault so there was no debate to have with the car insurance. I picked them because their rate seemed to be the lowest. The first person (not Robin) I met and w...ent over the details of my incident with explained to me that the firms 1/3 take from my case was applied after my medical bills were paid, this was not the case, they ended up taking 1/3 of what the car insurance company paid BEFORE any bills were paid which is a much larger amount since my medical bills were so expensive, maybe its standard procedure but I was misinformed. Their guarantee to not make more money than the client was helpful, but they did end up receiving ½ of everything after bills were paid. They also seemed to drop the ball because about 18 months after my accident they were asking who my health insurance provider was, that seems like something they should’ve already been aware of by that time. My last complaint is that all the reductions they got on my medical bills didn’t cover their cut so if I had paid the bills myself with no attorney involved, I would’ve made out better, but the process would’ve been more difficult for me. They did offer some decent advice, handled the paper work, paid the bills, and helped to keep my credit untouched as I waited on auto insurance money to come through. The people I interacted with were generally helpful and polite. My paralegal was Lisa, my attorney was Robin and I went to multiple offices throughout the process.
