I reached out to Chris a couple days before my arraignment for a speeding ticket. I had not realized just how serious moving violations are taken in Rhode Island. This was my 4th in 18 months, making me eligible for the consequences outlined in the Colin Foote Act (volunteer hours, a hefty fine, driv...ing reeducation and license suspension). I had never fought a ticket before and as soon as I discovered the potential ramifications of my latest, I began reaching out to lawyers. Chris was quick to respond, calling me on a weekend while he was away. His assistant/office administrator was very helpful. Whereas other lawyers routed me around to other lawyers within their office, Chris personally handled my questions and case. He was timely, effective and efficient. Also honest with me before I hired him, preparing me for the possible consequences. When I came to my court date (a half hour early), Chris was already there speaking with the police officer and judge. I was immediately called up and somehow was able to walk away with probation and a 60 hour reeducation course. Beyond my wildest expectations. Highly recommend!
