Amazing job-Comprehensive knowlegde of immigration law

My husband and I hired Rachel for a complicated case, involving my husband's adjustment of status. Rachel made the process very clear from the first phone call. Rachel was always there (via text, email, phone call or in person meeting) whenever we reached out, ready with full explanation of any quest...ions or concerns we had. She was the most knowledgeable attorney we encountered in our long process with immigration and we reached out to over four lawyers. Rachel knows the law and process, and was very clear that there was a pathway for my husband's case despite what others had told us. She had originally explained that our case could take time, she was correct and we received our approval recently. These cases often take patience and perseverance, she worked tirelessly for us and was professional, positive and encouraging throughout the process.

Knowledgeable representation

I had previously applied for citizenship and got denied. After consulting with attorney Self, she pointed out exactly what my previous attorney had overlooked, and explained to me how that oversight led to my application being denied with USCIS. Having several arrests(6) on my record, my application ...demanded extreme attention to detail and a lawyer who fully understood the criminal aspects of my past for immigration purposes. Rachel was honest and upfront about what chances I had and told me step by step what she expected to happen. She felt confident that I had a shot...even with my criminal past. Ironically, everything she expected to happen, did! I went to my interview in Nov 16 and 2 months later got the end result that I wanted. Citizenship granted. I can whole heartedly say that she does not misrepresent expectations, is an honest attorney and very knowleadgable in her field. Excellent choice!!

Before engaging Rachel Self as my immigration lawyer, I met with 3 other lawyers who were pessimistic about my case which left me with a very negative feeling walking out of their offices. I met with Rachel after being referred by a friend and she carefully reviewed the facts of my case and was able... to identify a path that could lead to a resolution of my circumstance. She is very clear and realistic but at the same time positive and has the knowledge and people skills that make things happen for her clients. I can attest to that, having already been successful in passing the first large hurdle in may case. Lucky me that I decided to make one last attempt with a lawyer. If someone will be able to resolve my complicated case, I'm confident it is Rachel. There is only ONE Rachel Self.

Absolutely amazing

Rachel Self is the absolute best immigration lawyer in the Boston area without a doubt. I came to her with the most impossible predicament and she did everything possible to gain justice for me and eventually won my immigration case. She literally gave me my life in the US back. She will do whateve...r it takes to gain justice for you by looking for every possible legal avenue to take to make your case work. It is an understatement to say that she truly cares for her clients. She will take personal time out of her day if it means she can improve on your case. Extremely skilled, diligent, efficient and compassionate, look no further if you are deciding on a lawyer.

Outstanding Job

My case went so smooth thanks to Rachel. She is an amazing lawyer and a person. The first day i met her she gained my trust, explaining exactly what the process will be like, what the time frame will be etc. She will return all your phone calls or e-mails no matter what day or time it is even if she ...is on vacation. I strongly recommend her as your first choice for an immigration lawyer. But do not take my word for granted do your own research and even google will tell you the same :) Thanks a lot Rachel !!! Really appreciate everything that you did for me !!!
