If your reading this review I imagine you are in the terrifying situation of being arrested and facing a life-altering OUI conviction. I had the traumatizing experience of being arrested almost a year ago for OUI, operating with negligence and a marked lane violation last summer. I was and still am... traumatized by the whole experience. I was fortunate enough to have a nephew who is in law enforcement and recommended a few lawyers...Michael Erlich was one of them. Michael explained my situation clearly, honestly and I hired him. He guided me through easily the court process which was so scary to me as I have never even had a speeding ticket! When it came time for my trial I was planning a jury trial but then switched to a bench trial based on Michael's professional opinion and I won. Not only did he professionally poke holes in the prosecution's case while examining both officers he actually got the arresting officer to admit that I was not impaired!!! You could hear the gasps in the courtroom. I was found NOT guilty! I was arrested for OUI, refusal to stop, and destruction of property. I had a court date scheduled for a few months out. I drive for a living and was facing losing my job as a result. OUI and refusal to stop CWF, and other related charges dropped. License suspension reduced to 45 days. This allowed me to get my hardship license and keep my job.
