Michael Erlich is the best!
Attorney Erlich defended my son in a marijuana possession case. He was available, understanding, communicative and above all professional. He understands the balance between gaining the client's respect and being a friend. I would recommend Mike to anybody seeking a hard-working and caring lawyer. 5 ...
The case was actually charged much more seriously. My client was accused of possession enough marijuana in a high school to be charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute as well as being within a School Zone which carries a minimum mandatory 2 year jail sentence. I was able to negotiate with the prosecutor a significant reduction to just possession of marijuana and my client was placed on pre-trial probation. That meant that he didn't even have to admit to the charge of Possession. In 6 months the possession case will be dismissed and he will have a clean CORI/criminal record. We will then file a Motion to Seal his record and employers will never see his past offenses.

DUI case
Mike E, was a terrific at the case at all times. He had a handle on all the little facts that was needed for my wife,s case.
February 15, 2012 Framingham District Court OUI Motion to Suppress/Dismiss A 911 call was placed regarding an erratic operator on Route 9 northbound in Framingham. An officer heard the dispatch and proceeded to look for the vehicle. Once he observed it, he reversed direction and noticed what appeared to be a heated argument involving my client and the front seat passenger. The officer proceeded to pull the vehicle over. I filed a Motion to Suppress based on there being no probable cause to pull my client over. I argued the officer needed to personally observe the erratic operation because he could not take as reliable a motorist who is unnamed. Because he only observed arguing and nothing of a physical nature, the officer did not have enough evidence at that point to pull my client over. Arguing, without more is not a crime. If the officer had seen anything of a physical nature the outcome would have been different. The court agreed following a hearing in which the officer testified and issued a ruling dismissing the operating under the influence charge. Result: Case Dismissed.
