i am a co-successor of a POA for my father and was never told about the POA and don't have a copy and was never given a copy. I asked for a copy from the attorney and they tell me i have to sign the POA to get a certified copy.

Only the home is listed in the trust document. But when the grantor dies, there will be home-related afterlife expenses (eg, mortgage, utilities, property taxes). Initially the grantor agreed to transfer her investment accounts into the trust, so that money could be used to pay for afterlife expenses. The (other) co-trustee convinced her that was a bad idea, and instead wants the investment money to go to the POD beneficiaries. which includes the co-trustee. (The grantor is elderly with declining capacity, and has difficulty understanding what a trust is, how it operates, or its benefits). The co-trustee is insisting that the other co-trustee/beneficiary “step up to the plate” and pay for house-related afterlife expenses from the personal funds (of the co-trustee/beneficiary), and to “put aside all of your textbook legalities.” Do co-trustees have to fund a trust in order to maintain a home in the trust? If one co-trustee refuses to fund the trust, can they be ordered to do so by the court?

Friends father passed away and in his will left his property to his two children. After the cremation my friends sister said she buried his urn on the property but refuses to say where. My friend legally payed his sister, her half of the estate. Is there anyway he can obtain the location?

I was asked to be an executor for my best friends widow and I said absolutely but my research says no due a DUI felony from 2013
