Legal advice on Speeding tickets in a school zone

School zone and my son was driving the vehicle.

Happened in Seattle. Photo enforced camera says 35 in a 20 school zone. However in the video it can be seen that she is braking as she’s entering the zone. The fine was $150.

So I was on my way home from school and I was in a hurry. Didn't wanna be late to some appointment I had so I hit the gas and went. Cop pulled me over while I was going 80 and he said he'll only give me a speeding ticket. On my ticket it says, "CVC 22350." It also says under that "80 in a 35 mph zone." Also, I was 17 at the time. Is there anyway I can get my license suspended for this? What's my best course of action to beat this.

I didn't see that the lights were on in the school zone and a cop got me going 47 in a 20 mph school zone. This will be my first ticket. Will i go to jail?

I was headed WB on Yesler Way in Seattle going 26mph, the 20mph school speed limit sign was flashing however there were no children present at all. I checked google maps street view and the speed sign does indicate "when flashing" and not "when children are present." Is this contestable? I was going 1mph over arterial speed, it wasn't like I was really speeding.

I’m relocating from Nevada back to Colorado. I’m currently between cities. I currently have a vehicle with out of state license plates (Nevada) that was captured by a traffic vehicle camera. They have an automatic photo vehicle monitoring the traffic speed limit (Camera) I was following the traffic flow since the camera was located three (3) lanes to the right In the side walk. I did not notice that it was a School posted area at that time. Normal speed limit in that area, I believe it’s around 40/35 speed limit. Apparently It was flashing at that time 3:45pm? I was driving about 37 miles per hr with the traffic flow.

I was driving home after picking up my daughter from school ,when I got pulled over.Officer said I was driving too fast 40 in 25 school zone. Orange lights weren’t flashing. He said he wont give me a speeding ticket. He will give me a ticket for reckless driving... Should I go to court , or pay the ticket?

I got a ticket in Colorado for speeding in a school zone. The district was only doing in home learning so there were no students or crossing guards but regardless, when I pulled up to a red light right before the start of the school Zone, the lights were flashing but stopped by the time the light turned green. When I went to court the d.a. told me the officer wrote on the ticket that I was going 35 instead of 20 with lights flashing and crossing guards present which is not at all true. I have proof from the districts website that they had no students on campus that day; they didn't bring kids to school for the first time until 3 weeks later. I set a new court date for another pre-trial conference but I want to know what else I should bring to support myself. I do have pictures from the next day and and a few from other Mondays of that school zone at the same time showing the lights aren't flashing but I kind of doubt that will make much of a difference.

I was doing 50 in a 35, but as I slowed to a school zone the police officer clocked me at 50, I was not in the school zone yet but he still applied the school zone violation. Also the address he put of the ticket of where I committed the offense is not in a school zone
