Legal advice on Business finances and accounting

per a contract with a company I made ongoing payments and when the amount was met I was to receive the product Instead the company was using my money to buy other products to their advantage and will not send me the product I paid for

My husband and I are new to the real estate investing game. We are closing on our first property soon and our lender said we have to get the loan in our name, not our newly established LLC. The title company is putting the title in our personal names. Are we able to transfer the title to the LLC and keep the loan in our personal names? Will it cause any liability issues down the road if the loan stays in our name? Let’s say if we get sued, will it look like we are co-mingling our personal and business finances?

I am considering starting an online educational coaching/consulting business. I will be advising parents how to help their child with educational subjects (i.e. math, literacy, homework skills, reading...) at home. I will NOT be promising better grades or anything of the kind. Rather, I will be guiding parents by showing them how to help their child. I will have a contract that pretty much states that there is no guarantee of better grades etc... Now, I realize anyone can sue anyone. I get it. But I can't see WHAT someone would want to sue me for, or better yet, what anyone COULD sue me for with this endeavour! Is there something I'm missing?

We are a recent start-up without any revenue but have two proposals that could turn in to projects. We have a 50-50 LLC in Colorado. She wants out of the business, while I want to continue as 100% owner. Because I want to keep the business it doesn't seem that I should dissolve the LLC in Colorado. How is something like this handled? Is there a standard form which she can sign turning over her ownership to me? I am willing to reimburse her for the initial investment she made.

I co-own a $1.5M professional services business with my wife. The structure is an LLC, and our shares are 50% each and we are both employees of the company (we work as co-managers). As we are going through a divorce, our business relationship has suffered and unfortunately, with other family emergencies my wife is experiencing, she is no longer working regular hours in the office. She always handled the financial aspects of the firm so she has sole access to our business bank account (the account was originally set up under her name). Currently, I am unable to make any financial decisions for the company (hiring, expanding etc) since I have not ability to access our business finances and even receiving my paycheck or bonuses is an issue. How can I access my half of the business financial assets? I want to do this in a minimally destructive way if possible.

My partner and I own an LLC. We build apps from home, however use a UPS mailbox address for the business. We're in the process of setting up a business checking account with Chase. They told us that we need to open the account using a physical address, and suggested to use our home address. We can't yet afford a separate business space. We're happy to keep all personal and business finances cleanly separated and documented, however we're worried that this 'intermingling' of addresses could cause us to be personally liable for the business. Is this a legitimate worry, or is it an acceptable practice?

I would like to get married, but I am concerned how his business might affect my personal finances. I want to remain completely separate from anything that may happen in the future associated with taxes, business finances, etc. We will not file taxes together and I will not be on any business accounts. I do know he is not currently set up as an LLC. I believe it is a sole proprietorship. Also, is there anything I can do to ensure his future personal finances won't impact mine?

I'm a freelance graphic designer in Arizona and my business is currently set up as a sole proprietorship. I know as a sole proprietorship my personal and business finances are at risk if I get sued. Is there a way to protect my personal and business assets without setting up an LLC?

I want to be able to round all cash transaction in my Small Business Retail store in Northern California to the nearest Quarter. (Still allowing customers to pay with any denomination of currency of their choosing) The benefit of doing this would be speeding up cash transactions by not having to deal with Dimes, Nickels, and especially Pennies. Is there any laws or any parameters I need to follow in order to do this?
