Legal advice on Landlord or tenant

The lease in my name. My parents visiting me. Can they stay with me for3 months. What are the legal requirements to accomplish this?

Moved in 1 month ago, told landlords about a leak and dirty water before signing the lease. We were assured it would be fixed. We moved in and a week later the ceiling in the hall closet caved in revealing mold (not black mold but still not healthy to be around). 3 days ago we are told the Landlords insurance is saying they won't cover repairs and the landlords are saying they can't afford them and are planning on selling the house to a new owner with no repairs in sight. We decided we are going to terminate the lease under §92.056(f) of the Texas property code. My girlfriend's mother is our real estate agent and said we could place a lien on the property to recoup our losses. Do we have any grounds to ask for reimbursement of the cost of items incurred due to circumstance? For example: our blinds, cost of relocating, and time off of work to pack and move again? Can we place a lien on the property? Lastly, her mother said that the landlords "broke the lease" due to the fact that they were informed of the leak/water damage prior to signing the lease and failed to do so. She followed that up with "don't pay the next months rent". Is this good advice? Any advice appreciated.

Our landlord is selling the house so he wants us out of the property, we always pay our rent on time so wouldn’t this be considered a no fault just cause reason and wouldn’t that mean we are entitled for him to help us with relocating fees ?

He has made several false statements when he filed the eviction. I have made several attempts to get him to bring us a lease for 2 yrs and nothing yet. I have tried to set up a payment arrangement to catch up on the 1 month that I fell behind

I’m in the military so I’m often not home but I recently have been home more often and smell weed in the building. I’ve smelled it before outside on the premesis but never inside. Being highly allergic, I no longer stay there because I fear an adverse reaction. Am I allowed to legally get out of my lease considering I can no longer live there? Does the 30 day notice rule apply to me considering the lease also has a no smoking policy? Am I allowed to get my deposit back and move out asap?

A pipe under my bathroom floor cracked and inundated the apartment below me. The co-op dug up my bathroom floor to make repairs t, and says my floor is not original so I must pay for fixing the floor. But the co-op is insured. "4.2 Insured Damage. If the Apartment or the means of access thereto or the Building shall be damaged by or as a result of a fire or by other cause insured against by the Lessor, repairs shall be made by the Lessor with reasonable dispatch after notice of the damage... " What do I do?

Today, my landlord contacted me inquiring about my military status. It seems to be related to an investigation regarding military or non-military service. I clarified that I am not a member of the military. I find this confusing because my upcoming court date for eviction is scheduled for late October, which is more than 30 days away. According to the regulations, investigations must be submitted by the marshal to the court within 30 days, but no settlement or trial has taken place yet. Additionally, the eviction cases against me have been postponed to a date beyond the 30-day window from today. It appears that my landlord's law firm is attempting to discover a method to evict me before my next court hearing; however, I'm uncertain of the process since I have not appeared before a judge or agreed to any settlements. Considering the circumstances, it seems possible that they are attempting to obtain a default judgment in their holdover case, given that I was absent during the last court date. However, I received a No Appearance postcard in the mail, and the case has been adjourned until late October, with the adjournment applicable for all purposes.

I don't own the house but in order to have the house under my name I would need to have administrator rights but I'm not trying to pursue the title of the house at the moment. The house was under my father's name but he passed away many years ago so me and sibling would have to gain rights to the house. I currently live in the house and I want to rent a room I want to do a letter of agreement but not sure what type of agreement to do or what type of agreement I can do. I also want to have it as my own record just in case I need to take legal action to get rid of the tenant

Before we got transferred too our new apt we had a issue with the air conditioning leaking and then it made mold grow in our apt we were in a studio at that time. we were getting sick and didn’t know until we lifted up the carpet and we stayed in the same apt for a month when they knew we had mold we told the office and corporate we did everything we could, we were told that there will be no fee we would only have to pay the studio rent since it’s so close too the end of the month and the remaining balance of the new apt, but I’m very concerned because the move in fee is 790$it’s as if we are new tenants and are moving in for the very first time and she was very rushing us too sign so we didn’t get time too read it which was bad on our part and stupid of us but she wasn’t really telling us anything so I would really love some advice on this matter

Possible neglect I come to find out that my daughter which has share custody of my granddaughter, has not paid her full rent in over a year and has gotten an addiction notice a few months ago. Also, she has not paid electric bill in over four months. The landlord is my granddaughter’s grandfather. my question is can she be held accountable for this in court if the father of her daughter decides to hold it against her. Because her neglect? She also goes out a lot. She goes out on the weekends and my granddaughter is with me and my husband most of the time. Can you hold all of this against her in court if you wanted to
