Legal advice on Dividing debts in a divorce

My husband & I purchased our PA marital home in 2004. We began living separately in April, 2018. After I moved out, he refinanced the mortgage in his name only but both our names are still on the deed. In 2019, I filed Ch 7 bankruptcy. I then moved to northern CO and have lived here ever since. My husband who still lives in PA later filed Ch 13 and was given a 5-year repayment plan. Fast forward to 2023, he just informed me that he's filing for divorce & selling the house so he can pay off his Ch 13 plan early (he still has 2 years left to pay). He wants to pay the $25K that he says is owed to the Ch 13 court & also $8K he owes in past-due property assn. fees, from the proceeds of the sale. He says that after the mortgage, Ch 13, & assn fees are paid there will likely be no money left after closing costs are paid. 1.) Since my name is on the deed, can he legally list the house with a realtor without my authorization or signature? 2.) Can I stop him from selling the house until he completes his Ch 13 repayment plan 2 years from now (to prevent a dissipation of assets)? 3.) If he serves me with divorces papers, do I need a PA attny or a CO attny to represent me? Thank you!

I found out my husband is cheating

Bought a car for myself on my boyfriend's credit because his credit was slightly better, 3 months ago. Mistakenly the title was only put in his name. I put down $13,000 of my own money. My boyfriend died two week ago. Now payments are due. His family is blaming me for his death and not talking to me. They are the next of kin even though I lived with him for 9 years (I'm in California). I'm afraid if I keep making payments, I'll lose the car anyway. His ex wife is very greedy and has heavy influence on their adult children. Should I ignore payments and let the car be reposesse or should I make payments to prove the car is mine. I can prove that the initial $13,000 came out of MY OWN PERSONAL ACCOUNT.

what legal course do i have? the police said they cant do anything even tho ownership, title, loan is in my name.

While my wife and I we married. We got a car that my wife cosigned for me. I am on full disability can not work. Now we are separated and getting a devorce. Now she wants the judge to hang over the car repoed bill to me since we got sued for the repo. Since I am on disability. Can the judge make me pay for the repo even though I am on disability and garnish my check..

Soon to be ex husband signed off of house deed/title years ago during a reconciliation period didn't work! he moved out 6 yrs ago to make a life with the mother of his 2 children. During this time he has supported me with $500 monthly payments as I work as well. I along with our 3 adult children who live at home have maintained household since his departure. We do not share accrued debt other than small remaining mortgage balance. We do not share any other assets in which we are both owners/signers. Will I be able to keep home automatically, ask for alimony and request help paying off my cc debt and does his financial responsibility to his "other" minor children effect anything? Can alimony be dismissed in lieu of me keeping home? How long am I entitled to alimony?

My wife and I are separated. i paid the down payment and the monthly payments came from our joint account. The car is mainly in my name, she cosigned just to have her name on it. my truck was a company vehicle and i no longer work there. She was the main driver of the car, but it's the only one that is "owned" by us and bought after we married.

I’ve lended someone two times by $19,000 and $15,000, for total of $34,000, promissory note was made by the time money lended, it was back on 2019 and 2020. Recently I’ve contacted borrower requesting a payment, things turns to difficult and frustrating. By the first time I called, I was told can be payback slowly, after that, instead of working on paying back slowly, I was blocked, phone call never went through, email also has no reply. I want to know in this situation, may I still able to, or how I can get the principal (money lended) back.
