Legal advice on Child support in New York

daughter went to court ex has to start paying the $1,100.00 again, My question, can a new proceeding or whatever be opened , in order to put a lien on his home in florida, so maybe my daughter can get her back C/S money $11,000.00 quicker. just wondering . because the lawyer who started this is from child support services, and we are not sure how much this person knows of law. thank you all once again. not sure if another lawyer could do anything now.

I have 2 children. My 15 year old wants to live with his dad. I currently receive 500/week for both kids. I just bought a home last year in which support income is relied upon to maintain. If my son lives with his dad, would I now need to pay support for him? And what happens with the son that remains with me?

our daughters ex owes 11k in back child support, she went to court with child services lawyer,and she got one check for $1,215.00 regular should be $1,100.00 the additional if for starting to payback the 11K, at this rate it will take almost 8 years. now all of a sudden I have seen his house is up for sale (florida) when I asked the child support services lawyer to place a money judgement on him she said it may not be possible now. what gives with this. a man can be 11K behind and daughter has to wait almost 8 years for the payback.

My wife and I agreed to a divorce (uncontested) in 2019. We came to an agreement for me to pay child support and half my pension. For an unknown reason she did not complete the divorce. I was subpoena two weeks ago (Wednesday by mail) to appear in court 5 days later (Monday). I went and the judge asked me if I acknowledge that I have three kids with the plaintiff. I agreed. The judge then asked if I am working, in which I replied no due to the fact that I was injured at work and I’m receiving Worker’s Comp ($300 biweekly). The judge then ordered me to pay $50 biweekly. But there’s discrepancy with the whole situation. 1. The child support case was in Brooklyn and we live in LI NY. The plaintiff is getting gov. assistance from a Brooklyn address and that’s the reason why she filed it there. 2. I bought a house and my kids and their mother lives there with me but the judge wants me to prove that I’m supported them, how? The court has the plaintiff as the custodial parent only but where raising the kids together 3. I paid all the bills in the house, why am I still paying child support? Isn’t that supporting my kids? 4. The judge asked the extent of my injuries which was preventing me from working but I do not want to disclose that information with the plaintiffs attorney. Do I have to? Should I pay the support now or wait to hire an attorney bc I go back in 6mo ?

I lost my job a few months ago due to covid and an accident I was in limiting my productivity. I am not receiving any benefits or any unemployment or assistance. I filed for a downward modification which is currently in litigation and ( My previous lawyer whom I paid an exuberant amount of money never filed it) so child support amount is rising drastically although I have no way to pay it at the current rate since I am unemployed. Now that my account is levied i cannot do anything, not even buy food. How should I go about assuring the levy is lifted in accordance with hardship? thanks in advance

I would like to take my child's father to child support with no lawyer because its expensive I believe he getting unemployment now and also he is a crypto investor with gains and also has a side business im struggling to support my child and also pay child care that I need him to pay %50 it's only right. What happens if he do not agree to pay %50. If I don't agree with decision would I be able to postpone case to hire a attorney?
