Legal advice on Business in Texas

I'm trying to start up an LLC for my business. I also provide a separate service that I would like to have under a DBA. Does the LLC for my business cover the liability for the services I am providing under the DBA? I have scoured the internet attempting to come to a conclusion, but all I have found is mixed opinions. Could you help ?

Hi guys I recently started my own Protein powder line that I plan to sell on Etsy and Amazon I'd like to know if I have to get my product certified by the FDA? I'll be launching creamers as well but I want to do everything the right way... Are there anymore things I need to know? Everything is done/packaged at home for now I'm not working with a company yet.

I own a small LLC with 2 members. My other member has been paying for a dedicated server that we use for business as well as some personal use with his own funds. Simply because the company does not yet make enough money to afford it. I want to know if this breaks the "corporate veil" between separating business and personal assets? It seems that job sites like indeed allow literally anyone to post jobs under established companies names. This damages companies credibility. If applicants are scammed which ultimately may cost the company top talent, and therefore money, the website should be held accountable. It seems like jobs sites should at least require an official company email or require a registered business lookup from the state.

Having mexican dinner and with kids we asked for the dessert menu,and server came back telling that there is no dessert menu and no desserts at the restaurant at all! it Was weird since the list is long, then i looked at one table and i saw them eating dessert. my husband went to talk to the manager and she names all the desserts, in a minute she dropped a plate with dessert “enjoy “in deep rude voice and left , so there was dessert.! midtime, We asked the busser and she brought us a dessert menu and she said there is dessert but when we explained to her what happens, she felt so bad and she said there were desserts but she was just a helper she said sadly! She called the manager who knew our table already, and with cold rude face she spoke to us but when she saw im recording she become “nicer”,she said she doesn’t know why server did it, athat she wasn’t rude.we felt so disrespected and discriminated!she could not wait to see us paying and to leave.while leaving i heard the woman mention ice cream to the kiddo and i saw thkiddo just finished its ice cream dessert! I felt so discriminated !!!! Please let me know if i have right i would sue them so hopefully they won' do this again

I plan to use revenue-sharing agreements to put together a team for a game development effort. I would like to know how this is structured. Up till now, I have only used general service contracts for certain tasks.

I am shifting my business to a game development path and I want to gather talent based on revenue share. I was quoted almost 10k for privacy policy and ToS by a lawyer (which is way beyond what we have to put towards legal right now) and I want to know what to expect for a revenue-sharing agreement.

If a member of an LLC passes away, and the Company Operating Agreement contains a signed and notarized "Right of Survivorship" clause, stating that: "If no severance occurs before the death of either Owner, then on the death of either Owner, the interest of the joint owner who dies will survive to the surviving joint Owner." What happens if the heirs claim that the member's will granted them the ownership interest? Thanks.

My employer hired me for one location and a couple months later switched me to another location and now a few months later is switching me back again. Both transfers have been in a moments notice. I’m a single mom that is more or less an only parent (this was made very clear during my my hiring process to avoid any issues in the future if I was employed), I had to rearrange my entire life such as childcare and such to make the new location work and now again I’m having to do the same rearranging. They are not accommodating the extra cost or inconvenience I am experiencing due to their inability to plan. Can they do this without any discussion or planning?

I am a co-borrower for a car purchased in Utah. My and the other owner’s name are listed on the title separated by “or.” We both now live in Texas. The other borrower made most of the payments and was the primary driver, but he ruined my credit by letting the car get repossessed, and only a generous gift from a friend allowed us to get the car out of auction and the title paid off. Now we have had a falling out, and he wants to sell the car without my permission and without giving me any of the sale money. Can he sell the car without my permission? If so, does that also mean I can sell the car without his permission?
