I purchased a car from a car lot in TN I told the owner I was in a rental that I was living with my mom (address on license and proof of address of two pieces of make and bank statement) he was unwilling to deviate from our initial agreement for the payment plan and immediately issued a repo today he is treating a warrant for my arrest for fraud he said my address was fraud but it was discussed that this was my address I told him I was a small business owner that does remodeling in different places but he is not hearing me he is just telling me to explain from the 4 walls of a jail cell

Partner is refusing buy out and any agreement to dissolve partnership. I would like to remove myself from all documentation including EIN and walk away. Can I be removed from EIN without the paperwork

I hired a general contractor to remodel/restore 3 bathrooms after a flood. I've seen their name around and assumed they were an established, licensed general contractor. I did a search on him through the TN govnrmt site and he doesn't hold a remodeling or contractor's license. He only has an LLC which means nothing really. I already paid him and sign a contract for the work. I'm wondering if he's breaking a law by offering this service & entering this contract. No work has started or materials purchased yet. BTW, this is a homeowner's insurance case.

I am wanting to get into eCommerce but I need an LLC get have EIN number and the other business necessities. However, I am testing the market with different types of products to see what will be successful. So starting an LLC for every product attempt would be extremely costly. Is it possible to get one of you talented lawyers to create one umbrella LLC to make this possible. I'm just trying to avoid spending money on creating LLC's for lots of failed attempts.

I worked for a remodeling company from a neighboring state who is operating in this state without a GC license. My CEO told me he had attained one and wanted me to start major work a client. I found out the CEO did not attain a license and was trying to start this phase so they could draw funds to pay past due invoices that they were behind on, along with being behind on payroll. When I found out we didn't have a license I quit. This company is "at will" so I quit the next morning. Plus I was tired of not being paid. Her attorney sent me a C&D letter but mentioned that I owe the employer a large sum of money for damages and that they are gathering evidence which shows that I was acting in a manner to "illegally divert funds...for personal gains." All I wanted was to stop working for this company because I could not in good conscience continue. I tried to do my best for this company and I am at a loss of why they are even coming after me. I am not sure what to do.

I was title jumped, bought a motorcycle with Jason as the owner his name on the front of the title, on the back had been signed over to Chris, Chris sold the bike to me, never registering it and getting a new title.Signed over to me In the next slot under the first transaction on the back of title, cannot register the bike because the “owner” never sold it to me, cannot contact Jason or Chris, what can I do, I’ve been told I can just get a bill of sale I can register it, who would need to be the seller? Could anyone be the seller and the count clerks never see the title? An idea I’m formulating is request for a new title in Jason’s name, with my address, or by putting my name down as a Lienholder and the new one will be sent to me. Then sign the bike over to myself, and go register it. I have money in the bike and selling it as a no title bike for cheap, would hurt my wallet. Is there any other ways around this problem, preferably more legal then my solution? Any help will help me out a lot, this is all too complex for me to really solve, and the county clerks office doesn’t have any interest in helping me out.
