Legal advice on Business in Rhode Island

I wish the problem was as simple as my question. I spent some time with a financial adviser constructing an annuity application, followed by the policy, after I wrote a check for $250,000. Upon receipt of the policy I wasn't confident understanding it completely . It seems everyone in that business throws out a figure here, a time line there, without constructing a cohesive explanation. I moved on to another company who came recommended by a close, attorney friend. I believed they would present a superior proposal. On the comparable benefits they directed me to, it appears they did, but again it was like being read a story with pages missing. For expediency, they suggested I sign a waiver on the free look period, without ever seen a written proposal. I did, assuming everything would fall into place. At least something written, within days. It is now time for me to hand over my money, returned from the other insurance company. I have nothing in front of me except some pen notations , made by the new adviser, on a couple of slick brochures advertising annuity policies. Should I not have a formal proposal or policy in my hands before I go through this again?

Brother and sister formed a LLC and put the family house in the LLC. This was in 2008, the brother had the use of the property and house for the last 12 yrs, the sister did not see any money from her investment. There was a verbal agreement that he would do repairs and upkeep. Which much of the upkeep had not been done. His children supposedly rented the 2 apartments but the sister did not see any money through the years, even though she put up $280,000. Now she wants to sell the property since her brother passed away in 2019 but his children will not agree to any agreement she comes up with and won’t sign off, the wife passed away last year. And they have started giving her $2000 a month for the 2 apartments but don’t pay anything for the use of the business garage. What can she do to disolve the issue. The only people on the LLC is her and her deceased brother and there is no operating agreement in place.

Through my healthcare plan adviser I was introduced to a financial planner. So far I have an application for an deferred indexed annuity, which I electronically signed , plus I gave them a substantial check that will be invested. I assumed the check was as proof I am serious. Evidently the application is the contract and all that's left is me receiving the policy. I wasn't in great health during this period of this application (12/26/2022) and only now am I seeing I have more questions than answers. I need an objective reviewer of this policy. I thought I was getting a fiduciary advisor but that is not even clear as the policy pays a commission to adviser. I need this done ASAP so I don't spend the next 4 years stressing about this.

I bought a car about a year and a half ago. I needed tires and waited for the dealer to replace them for about 2-3 weeks before replacing them myself which was about $650 give or take. I’ve paid all my debt with the exception of the $650 that I had to come out of pocket for in the beginning. The dealer repoed the car but I have the title and on my title it doesn’t list a lean holder or any other name beside myself. Did he still have the legal right to take my car or is it stolen. If he does have that legal right how do I get the reimbursement for the $650 once I’ve squared my debt?

I purchased a new car from a dealership in Tiverton, Rhode Island, but have since found out that it's not the best car for my use case. So I'd like to cancel the deal prior to taking delivery. Since I paid cash and the dealership was going to deliver it to me in Alabama, it hasn't been used, registered or physically delivered yet. They didn't do any registration, title or tax paperwork on it. I called to ask if I could back out of the deal given the circumstances, and they said no. Is there any recourse here? I even offered to buy a more suitable car from them. But they said that the original car is now "used".
