The rental property needs some TLC so I may need a loan to fix it.

Established a DBA to do some online apparel sales. Sold approx $200 worth of merchandise and due to family situation abandoned further sales and haven't taken back up the business. Failed to pay the sales tax on the few items purchased, now state is trying to collect over $5000 in back taxes and penalties. How can i resolve the situation without incurring these penalties and fees?

I can buy a 40% discount code for a website and the terms say you can’t use it to resell the merchandise or else they’ll cancel the discount. So I’m wondering if I can get into any legal trouble for using this discount to resell items. I understand they can cancel it but can they pursue anything further?

I am thinking about making a move to another company, when I first started at the company we signed some of these contracts online, since then we have been acquired by a bigger company and all of our signed agreements we supposed to migrate over to the new company, I asked my HR dept 7 days ago to please provide me with a copy of what I had originally signed, but have yet to receive it, when I reach out, they say that they are not able to find anything. I am nervous about making a move to another company as I am not 100% sure what the agreements actually say, so the question is, how long do they have to provide this to me, before I can say, if you don't have it, then I didn't sign it and make my move with out being scared of being sued.

I have a contract with a company LLC. I was owed 18,000 from 2 years ago. I received only 5,000. Senese then. I have a contract signed by both parties stating this. What lawyer should I hire to help me take this to court?

I shop alot at our local Goodwill. I am on a fixed income and I take my grandchildren in there so they can get almost anything they like. I was changed 19.99 for something that I thought was 1.99. I went in and returned it. I go back months later and the manager says . Didn't I ban you? I said NO ? She says your the one who returned that track suit. It was only 2 minutes after I purchased it. I got to my car and realized I paid 19.99 for something that was supposed to be 1.99. I asked if they looked up prices before they put the items out. She said NO . then the same manager told a lady in line they looked up her item and its expensive. thats why her item was what it was. So we both say. you just told me you dont look up items. I left.. case closed. I go back a month later with my family and we are all shopping in there over hour and she sees me. I go to check out and she says arent you banned I said no and why. she says youre the one with the track suit. I said yes but you didn' ban me. she embarrassed me. then follows all of us out to our car and tells me not to come back . my husband says why. she didnt steal, vandalize or hurt anyone. My granddaughter is 6 and felt threatened

Starting an LLC together and want it to truly be equal between us and him. We're all working together and all have a lot to contribute so I would like to have me, my wife, and my brother all as members with my wife and I at 50% and him at 50% but would that be unwise for us because he has 50% ownership or unwise for him because we have 2 members for voting purposes? We're putting in 50% startup funds and so is he (so I believe it would we would break that down to 25% for my wife and I). Technically we're putting in more hours because it's 2 of us but his contributions are necessary to succeed. We all get along great but I don't want to run into issues down the road.

If my company was created as "A1 Advertising, LLC" (Not my real name) and I just wanted to go by "A1 Ads", do I need to register it as a DBA? And do I have to include LLC in the DBA?
