Legal advice on Business in New Mexico

Can I open my own restaurant or atleast invest in one or a food business while on H1B visa?

I filled a tort against a business I was injured and sustained injury how long before there is a settlement ? How long does it take to review medical records and to send a letter indicating a settlement ? And what is the range a business can settle of course there's many variables but ballpark what is the norm ?

I am looking to start an online marketing business with myself as the sole employee. I'd like to keep my dad out of it as much as possible, but the business would entail contracts with clientele. I would like to know if it possible to operate this solely as a 17-year-old.

A couple months ago my business partner quit showing up to work and taking phone calls. About a month later he wanted a dissolution because I was making personal purchases through the bank account. Which the company owed me money for finances I had either invested or had not taken in wage withdrawals. We have a 50-50 operating agreement. Meanwhile I'm trying to finish work we have under contract and still have debts to pay for the company but i cannot deposit or cash checks. MY wife and I have exhausted all of our own personal finances and the LLC owes us money as well. He has taken money after he canceled our contractors license to do work for himself and not put finances back into the account. Meanwhile I have 90 days to finish all permitted work according to New Mexico Law but I can no longer operate due to the inability to deposit checks so that i can have working capital. To pay our vendors owed and other debts as will as finishing the work contracted is my main concern. What can I do? I am already speaking to an attorney. But im researching many diferent angles.

There are 3 girls that don't like me that work at Walmart ND I have been asked to leave because there were 2 complaints against . But they could not tell me what the complaints were. I have gone in after that many times with no problems the only time they kick me out is when one of the girls is working. But they still can't tell me what the complaints are I've asked. I have never been caught stealing I've never been caught doing any kind of crime inside the store it's simply a personal problem with the other women that work there. This is the only store in my town to shop in will I be trespassing if I continue to enter the store? Do you have to sign a document stating that you are trespassing in the state of New Mexico at a Walmart.

The company states the cannabis is grown organically and pesticide free when it is not. It is false advertising.

I contracted a person to edit my monthly magazine. She did not perform duties as expected or in a timely manner. I've had to complete her duties since she came on so I could make deadlines. She didn't tell me she wasn't going to complete work for the last issue and just stopped working. She's asking for full payment for last issue she worked on before just quitting. I've lost time and more money due to her behaviors. Do I have to pay her the full amount since she did not complete job duties?

A friend and I work for a supplement shop in Hobbs, NM. The shop is a large LLC with over 50 stores across the country. We are wanting to leave the company and open our own vitamin shop within the next year, however upon looking at our documents we have "acknowledged" a non compete agreement through ADP. Keep in mind, I have not signed this agreement, just acknowledged it through the ADP online source. Anyways, the Non Compete Agreements states these rules: Restrictive Covenants. Employee acknowledges that, in order to effectuate the promise to hold Confidential Information in trust for the Company & in order to protect the Company's legitimate business interests (which include, but are not limited to, continuation of contracts & relationships with its customers, its reputation, & its competitive advantage), it is necessary to enter into the following restrictive covenants. Without the prior written consent of the Company, Employee shall not, during his/her employment at the Company or for a period of twelve (12) months after the Employee is no longer employed by the Company: Going on to explain we cannot compete with the company in any way. Is acknowledging the same as sign?

I want to sue here she calls my work asking questions about me telling them things about me then they call me in the office and firer me she had a lot of money and I’m sure she’s paying the people I work with to do this to me I want her suede
