Legal advice on Business in New Hampshire

LLC formed when purchased property for rentals. All properties sold but for one, and that is not going to be rented any longer. What do I have to do to take that last property out of the LLC and close the LLC?

I am a paralegal with Webster Bank. I am constantly being asked to allow licensed insurance producers (title companies) to be allowed to close residential real estate purchases and refinances in New Hampshire, but I have been reluctant to do so because where does the "legal representation" come in if something goes sideways with the transaction? I am located in Connecticut, but listed Keene, New Hampshire as my location so that a New Hampshire attorney could reply with guidance it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Robin Pivirotto

I own a consignment store and we rent out space. We require a non-refundable 3 months of rent up front. We have all out terms laid out in a agreement. It clearly lets the vendor know that the three months are paid upfront and is non refundable. They didn’t want to follow the rules of our store on multiple occasions which led to them causing a huge scene at my store and they didn’t want to stay anymore. The asked for a refund and i said sorry no and directed them to the contract. I am now being sued please help thank you.

My fiance and I were living in our car we rented a storage unit we had gotten locked in the first night and the gate didn't open until the morning we didn't sleep in the unit we were in the car until the gate opened. The manager didn't like the looks of us my fiance went there I stayed in the car well she ran in I threw my black journal with a cross taped to it on the dashboard the manager changed our code and put a lock on our door said that I was throwing needles on the dashboard and I'm on video doing it and we got kicked out even though it was proven that he lied to the district manager and my fiance and the other workers. Now our life is in the storage unit and they're putting it up for auction if we don't pay even though they locked us out before our rent was due and kicked us out for a made up reason.

We have had several meetings with board members and we are not sure how to record/approve the notes/minutes. One meeting was to discuss a so called disturbance to a neighbor by someone's 60 watt light bulb in their lamp post a street away, another having a lawyer come in and answer questions to residents about changes being considered in our docs, another a budget preparation meeting. Do these types of meetings need to be recorded and or approved at a board meeting. How are these notes handled?

Two married couples bought a property with all four having equal shares. One couple divorces and the husband sells his shares to his e-wife. Is this legal? Do the Corporate Bylaws apply? Should the other two shareholders have the right to buy the shares or have the shares distributed equally among the three remaining shareholders?

We would like to settle this out of court. So to do this we need to sell our home to pay off the debt in full is this legal to do

Purchased a boat in "as is condition." The boat advertisement said, "Super clean and low use. Selling because of lack of time to use." I texted the seller and asked about more history on the boat; sellers response, "It is in excellent condition. Everything is functional and has been professionally serviced. Always stored inside and only used in fresh water." I purchased as a private sale from someone who owned a marina and works on boats, so I felt comfortable as the boat looked good and started right up. Brought the boat home, & put it in the water. The engine would not fire up. I contacted the Seller who forgot to tell me about the fuel shut off switch - I turned back on, boat would not start & battery drained. Seller then told me to charge up battery & add additive to the gas since the boat was sitting. Next day, still would not start. Contacted the seller, he sent me a text saying, "If you want, bring it up and I can get a look at it. I know it is a pain but I should be able to find out what's going on and turn it around. Sorry this happened." I brought the boat back next day. Was told carbs need rebuilding and he did one, no time for 2nd. Do I have recourse?

I thought an S-Corp would help with my taxes, but I have recently learned that is not necessarily the case. Can I dissolve it and keep the LLC? Thank you.

So, my father in law owns a small business and it’s an llc. My husband and brother in law work for him. My sister in law does not work for the company, is not listed as an employee. But she uses the company bank account to pay all her bills, her SUV was bought and is paid for through the company, the insurance for it, gas etc. she does not work. She also uses the company account to pay for her sons sports and buying him four wheelers and go carts. My FIL refuses to tell her no saying it’s his company and his money. Is this legal? He takes pay away from my husband and BIL when money gets tight because of her.
