i was in walmart buying stuff and payed and threw out my receipt and they didn’t let me leave and made me re buy my already purchased items

my boyfriend's friend came to him awhile ago said his girlfriend gave him a car and that he wants to sell it to him for 800. My boyfriend said yeah and told him he'd put his expedition down as a downpayment. well they day he came and got the expedition we had to follow him to the scrapyard where i put the expedition in my name and scrapped it which brought close to 400 dollars so that was leaving us only owing 400. Well since then the dude has came by here ain't said a word about getting the rest of what we owe which we told him wed get it as soon as possible. So now that my boyfriend got locked up the dude showed up wanting his car back with no refund on expedition. The title to the car is still in dude's girlfiend's name. Is there anything we can do to stop him or atleast get our money back?

Work in roofing, sometimes roofs leaks. We always do right by our customers. However, sometimes we can't make everyone happy and people threaten lawsuits. Would I have more legal protection keeping the LLC open, even if we don't conduct business, as some sort of barrier or would it make sense to dissolve it. Person rebuilds from scratch entire web application for Company. Web application is hosted under Person’s personal email with personal credit card. Person single-handedly built entire web application. All content for web application is provided by Company. Who owns the rights to the code to the web application? Does this Person have legal ownership of the web application to modify or sell to other Companies?
