Legal advice on Business in Maine

Hello everyone! I am think of establishing an LLC to cover several different income streams I have started to develop. These are: Reselling used and new goods online through eBay; Mystery shopping; Creating and self-publishing books through Amazon KDP; and "Gig work" (delivering food and groceries for Instacart and DoorDash). I consider these micro-businesses. I know I could do all of these as a sole proprietor, but I would prefer to have an established business name, primarily for the first three endeavors on my list. And who knows, I might find some other kind of income stream and try doing that as well. Would it be possible to establish one LLC that can cover all of them, or do I need separate LLCs? Also, I have looked at Maine's page on Corporations and LLCs, at www.maine.gov/sos/cec/corp/llc.html, and that page has a long list of fees—but I am not sure which apply to me and my situation. I know I also need to file something with the town in which I live, but I'm not sure if that's a DBA or something else. Thanks in advance!

My husband and I would like to start a craft/woodworking LLC under the name “Tacoma Design Works”. We chose this name because we live on a chain of lakes referred to as the “Tacoma Lakes”. I understand the word “Tacoma” is trademarked by Toyota. Is there a legality issue with this situation?

We did take out a payday loan a very long time ago. Circa 2013. We thought it was resolved, but we weren't sure. Black Water said we could settle for less than half. We can do $25 payments per month. So we've been paying that. This month is our 3rd payment. Am I being scammed? Should I stop making these payments? I looked for the website today to make another payment and found all these negative comments about it being a scam and that so many other people had the same situation. Cannot find their website now. Greetings, It has been four years since the new owner of the company I work for took over. The employee handbook that was given out by the new owners, states 'your manager or supervisor may formally discuss and document your performance on a regular basis (generally annually)'. Two years into the new ownership my roles changed, I took on a lot of new jobs that were not originally in my job description. I knew I couldn't have a review without my employer truly understanding all the work I was doing. I asked for a job description 2 years ago. I finally received that June of 2021. I still have not received a review or even a discussion of a raise in 4 years. At this point is it best to find a new job or there is something that I can do to be heard. This is a family owned business so the HR person is my employer's wife. Thank you

I am considering opening a webcam model studio. Is there an online legal resource that can help with contracts/agreements between the studio and it's contracted models? There are a few sample agreements floating around on the web, but they do not cover things such as the payout for the models, and term lengths of the agreement. Any advice would be appreciated.

I own a business with my mom and sister. We never legally became an LLC, cooperation etc. I believe we are legally just partners? Our business is suffering due to the pandemic. My sister is considering filing bankruptcy and we would like to include the commercial lease into the bankruptcy. My sister is the only name on the lease. Will the landlord be able to come after my mom and I for lost expenses?
