I own an LLC cleaning business. It’s just myself. I need a helper 1-2 days a week, possibly more as the business continues to grow. Can I hire someone by way of 1099, someone with experience in that they don’t need to be trained. They would however ride with me each workday and use my work supplies. i would prefer to go the sub-contractor route, if doable. I just don’t know the laws and don’t want to trigger the irs.

I work for a Dunkin franchise. Im a hard/smart worker. I sometimes exceed 60hrs per wk. I'm interested in creating a contract where my employer can rollover any overtime hrs exceeding 55hrs into the following payroll. E.i. 57hrs worked this week : 5 overtime hrs payed on this payroll, but 2hrs to be carried over to the following payroll. I understand this could potentially create a pile of unpaid overtime if someone we were to lose track of the hrs carried over. The solution would be to Not lose track, but again, I'm creating more hassle for them. The reason I'm interested in doing this is because I will get a raise soon and a promotion likey to follow. I do not want salary; I want overtime pay! But when I do past 50hrs, the managers start to worry about their payroll; so to appease this I was trying to read some NFL but can't find anything that would allow me and my employer to sign a binding contract where if I pass 55hrs in a week, we can take any above hours and repeatedly carry them over for any week i don't pass the 55hrs "threshold". Because not every week i work 50+hrs, so if one week i work 38hrs I can benefit from overtime carried over. Thank you.

I am the 25% share holder of a LLC. And there no operating agreement or any other agreement. Rest is a 60% share is owned by someone else and 15% by someone else. We had a dispute and now all of sudden i came to know that he removed my name from from corporation database of the state. I cannot see my name there, rest shareholders names are there. My name is not there in annual report of this year. But my name is still being shown on certificate of corporation (old one) (years back). How is this possible to do? Did he do by fraud? And what can i do?? He also blocked my access from company books and bank accounts. Just two questions i have: -1) how did he do it? Will this be fraud? 2) what are my options here what should i do?

Forming an LLC for a real estate investment business. I have a partner. One is in MA and the other in NH. Do we need to set one up for both states?

Id like o know he following: If a business owner ( John Doe) plans to open a business and that business will be owned by a LLC ( Mary Jane LLC- which John Doe is the treasurer ) Id like to know the following: 1) Who is required to be the tenant named on the lease , is it John Doe alone or Mary Jane alone or both John Doe & Mary Jane? also 2) Depending on the above if the LLC entity is required to sign the lease how does a no n living entity physically sign the lease, would it b e by a LLC company stamp or would John Doe sign on behalf of the LLC, since he is treasurer and if so would he simply sign as follows MARY JANE LLC JOHN DOE AS TREASURER. We purchased two trucks from this company in Massachusetts and they have failed to send us the title for one of the truck. They keep saying it is in processing and its now been over 1 year.

Went to purchase a breakfast meal at McDonald's and saw in their app there was a 30 cent upcharge for a small coffee. Instead I ordered at the counter where the posted sign said small coffee was included but other drinks were an upcharge and the cashier confirmed. My receipt had an upcharge for a small coffee added. While this doesn't seem like much money, I imagine if this is company wide then they are potentially making lots of extra money off of something that's supposed to be included.
