If professional or other managerial subordinates make more money than their L-1A manager for any reasons, does that in any way cast doubt on their L-1A manager's qualification for L-1A visa status?

I have an LLC and want to keep my for profit status but I also desire to have a non-profit status utilizing the same name (if possible) to gain access to grants for businesses with a 501.3c status, as well as access to other benefits of a non-profit.

I sign a contract in October 2022 to start a renovation mid-January 2023. The contractor is not replying to my emails/calls anymore, so it is causing a level of stress. the total renovation price was $45,000 and i gave a $20,000 deposit (to start buying all the materials to start the renovation as soon as possible). What can i do to get my money back in case he keeps delaying the start of the project? Is there any way to get my $20,000 deposit + $1,400 extra asked for the permits?. His company is registered in DC, and my home is in DC as well.

I was removed from a restaurant in a very rude manner lastnight. My guy friend left to go to his vehicle to grab payment and I waited, the server kept asking for payment to the point where I tried to post myself because she was being very prompt on payment. She kept coming over and asking if we were ready to Pay.. I called my friend informing him that he must hurry and he’s walking as fast as he can (had to park far due to no parking) eventually the woman returns with police and tells us it must be paid now even though the restaurant will be closing in an hour. I tried my card and it did not work and I pleaded with them to understand the cause. They did not care, told me that I must leave immediately and I was banned from the restaurant. I don’t think this is fair. I was only waiting for my friend, the place wasn’t closing, they just assumed because were black people im guessing that we were attempting not to pay. Very frustrating as I have been in the industry for some time now so I know how servers are; this was uncalled for.

I opened my small LLC business and Ive heard security guards companies now have more strict rules and cannot hire contractors on 1099 form as in the past. In some situations they are falling under your employment if you train them or something similar and basically they may be needed to be now on W2. If that so, I may need to change my LLC and structure the company differently. If someone can give me any information about these possible changes in DC I would highly appreciate it. I would need to hire an attorney for the future contracts. Thank you.
