I have an LLC based in Ga but now I conduct business full time in FL

I met and agreed to start working with a manager in 2018. We never signed a contract, but I did pay her for the one job that she got me. I got new agents and I got hired for national tour but before leaving, I reached out to my manager asking for a physical contract because I wanted to review what she had rights to, but she never gave me one. Now I am 6 months into my contract and she reached out to me telling me that I owe her commission on this tour and brought up getting a lawyer involved. I want no trouble, if she is entitled to commission from me, I will give it, but I don’t want to pay her if she has no rights to my money. Please let me know what my options are. I want to terminate my partnership agreement as a silent partner in a restaurant and the other partner has agreed to pay me back my initial investment. if the restaurant changes the LLC from the one on the termination agreement ( example from CM LLC to CV LLC but it’s the same people), who would be responsible for the payments ? Would I still be entitled to getting my initial investment back? The termination agreement lists the payment schedule and amount to be paid every month. however, the termination agreement says “Upon execution of this agreement, the partnership agreement will be null and void, and all partners released from all obligations of said partnership” as well as “ Disclaimer: All payments are pending the availability of additional funds after expenses incurred for the sustainability of the business are concerned i.e rent, payroll, electric, gas, food costs, beverage costs etc.” What exactly does that mean if I sign? Hello, I am inquiring about a need to either start a business or register as a DBA. I am looking to sell pictures, host, as well as play events and do a number of other things in the near future and I want to make sure everything is under at very least my artist name. In your opinion which looks better for me, a DBA, or an LLC? Also in the State of Florida do I need both a Sellers Permit and a Business License to sell products if there is no physical location for my business? I would only be selling physical products on line, or through interactions that wouldn't be at a store, (i.e. at a sellers convention)

Recently completed a will and realized some of my personal accounts use a shortened version of my full legal name. For example, my will has my full first name (i.e Jimmy John), Middle name (Joe) and last name (Johnson). However, my bank/investment accounts and other personal property have Jimmy J. Johnson.

Good day. I have a partnership with a Georgia resident for a 17.5% interest in a multifamily deal in Florida. An LLC for the partnership was created in Florida last year. I found out yesterday that my partner forged documents to make it seem as if we have equal partnership while in actuality we do not. We are paid dividends quarterly based on our shares. He is being paid more than what he paid, Looking for a lawyer to help me with the legal process. I do not want to go through small claims so I need to know consultation costs with a lawyer etc, etc. Do I need a Florida or GA lawyer to file the case? Please advise. Thank you.

I’m getting my real estate license and am wondering if I can use a different name? I don’t want to totally change my name. For example my name is LaKeisha but I want to go by Keisha instead, would that be okay? Or if my name is Louisa but everyone calls me Lola, would that be an issue? I’ve read you have to use your real name on your license but I’m wondering if I went by Keisha instead of LaKeisha in my advertising would I be violating any laws?

Can an owner of a company legally put someone on their payroll and pay them to help them out financially, but the employee not actually work for the company? All legal documents are signed and taxes come out and get recorded. Is this legal?

The title says it all. I was wondering what sort of protections will I have if I invest in a company thats located in another country? Namely England, or Ireland or something like that Note: by protections I mean enforceable legal documentation drawn up here, etc
