My income has gone down and I can not afford to pay my credit card's or loans.

I caught my husband Cheating

My wife is on our house Title, but not the mortgage. She filed chapter 13. I want to sell the house. Will the proceeds be kept by the court to pay her debtors?

My wife passed away suddenly on June 4th and left some bills in her name. I do not have the means to pay them. The car is the only bill we had jointly. I was the primary on the car due to her being almost legally blind. We were both on SS, hers being under disability. I no longer have her income to pay her debts.

I had a repossession in 2019 and offered to make payments on deficiency but creditor was not willing to take payments. A lawsuit was filed in 2020. Nothing else was done until June 2023 when I was informed to pay full amount or creditor will take judgment. I offered payments again but what I can afford and what creditor wants is very different. I lost everything in 2019 including a place to live. I live with family and pay rent to them. I have a minor child and my only income is ssdi They want me to sign a settlement agreement, promissory note and confession of judgment. I am willing to do so because I don’t want a judgment to follow me for 10 plus years but am not sure I can make the payments. I am not behind on any other payments. As soon as my child graduates I will lose a considerable amount of income.

Owner of firm told me in writing that my attorney closing my case and no longer representing me. He didn't file a motion to withdraw. What happens if he doesn't show for 341 meeting

If you have documented evidence someone did not report significant property with high dollar value on Chapter 13 bankruptcy petition (case still open in bankruptcy) in Wake County NC AND when ask lied by saying property had no value to Trustee is: 1. this criminal? 2. it likely person who lied on petition would be held liable, charged with a crime by court?

I totaled my car in October of 2022. My insurance company paid gap however, we still owed the lender old payments. For 5 months they gave us different amounts that we owed until last month. We kept asking for a breakdown and they would not give us anything explaining what we owe and how much. We finally paid them to be done. We are now asking for a payoff letter and everyday they are telling us 10 business days. If I don't receive a letter soon I will owe my school $9000. This situation could have been handled but the company drug us through the mud. They also charged us another payment after they charged off the account.

i am presently on ssdi since becoming disabled in yr. 2000 from a car accident no fault of my own and my mo. income is $1356 mo. my attny. told me back then that id be able to collect retirement, i was working and paying taxs when i was awarded ssdi so this year i turn 62 and i called the social security office to ask if there is anything i need to do to begin receiving my retirement on 7/13/2023 my birthday he told me i was already receiving my retirement and have been since becoming disabled, im very confused can you please shed light on my issue thank you

I have an IRS debt that's been going on since 2014. Each accountant and attorney I worked with just bled me dry until I lost everything. Can I file for bankruptcy and include the IRS debt? The debt is over $300k. I can't even get a job because they just garnish my wages. The work I used to be in, which is the only thing I'm qualified for, is a trade that I can no longer physically do for multiple reasons.
