Woodhaven Drunk Driving - Twp of Brownstown, Grosse Ile, Trenton, Flat Rock, Gibraltar DUI Attorney

According to the Michigan State Court System caseload audit, the 33rd District Court in Woodhaven handled 383 drunk driving cases. It appears that at least 27 of these were felony DUI offenses.

Looking at the numbers it appears that 25 DUI offenses were dismissed either by the prosecutor or by the judge, and only 2 cases went to trial, which appear to both be guilty verdicts.

It appears that the Woodhaven court splits up the DUI offenses equally between the three judges - Judge Hesson, Kersten and McNally, but Judge McNally does run the sobriety court so he deals with DUI offenders most often. The sobriety court is used for repeat offenders or offenders deemed to have serious alcohol dependency, and require additional monitoring.

Looking at the numbers, there were only 39 DUI offenses charged by Wayne County on a state level, which include all the second and third offenses. There were 280 city and township cases which were charged by the local prosecutors (Brownstown Twp, Woodhaven etc)
