Will I go to jail after being arrested for drunk driving in Florida?

Yes, you will have to go to jail. Now in some arrests, the police could give you a Notice to Appear. Unfortunately, a DUI is not one of those arrests. You have to spend at least six hours at the jail before you could even bond out. You do not have to wait the next day for your first appearance, you can bond out before, but you have to spend at least six hours at the jail before you can get bonded out.
