This is a list a to the reasons a carrier will deny a workers' compensation claim.
AOE/COEA denial will issue of the injury was found "factually" not to arising out of and be in the course and scope of employment. For example, someone may have been on their way to work when the accident happened. The carrier may raise the "going and coming" rule. Note: this potentially could be contested but would be a valid basis for a denial
Denial Based Upon Medical ReasonsA denial will upon the receipt of a doctor's report which may indicate that the alleged work events did not cause the medical condition. Or, the doctor's report could find that there was no medical condition or no injury.
