Why a debt collector would have to pay your attorney's fees under the FDCPA

When you're dealing with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), there are some consequences that the debt collectors face.

One of these consequences is that if you win your case, the collector may have to pay your attorney's fees.

This encourages them to settle with you quickly and fairly, instead of dragging the process out for a long time and having to pay more.

Hope this helps you!
