Who pays workers' compensation benefits in Florida?

In some cases, the employer will pay the benefits directly, but in most cases, it is the worker's compensation insurance company that provides the medical benefits and the wage benefits that one is due. You can go to the website with the Florida Department of Financial Services coverage section, to determine if your employer has worker's compensation coverage through an insurance company, but in most cases, it's the worker's compensation insurance company.
