What is total disability?

Temporary total disability benefits are benefits that you receive from the workers' compensation carrier if the authorized treating physician renders the opinion that you are incapable of working temporarily. If so, then you receive from the workers' compensation carrier 66 and two-thirds of your average weekly wage, non-taxable.
