What if my Florida employer tells me not to file a workers' comp claim or threatens to fire me?

It is against the law in the state of Florida for the employer to threaten to fire you for filing a worker's compensation claim or to tell you not to file a worker's compensation claim. You should contact a worker's compensation attorney immediately so that attorney can provide you with the information you need to file the legal documents that are necessary to protect your rights against your own employer so that you receive the benefits under the worker's compensation statute that you deserve.
