What if a person dies before bringing a personal injury lawsuit?

If a person dies before the lawsuit has been filed, then the personal representative of the estate can file the lawsuit on behalf of the beneficiaries of the deceased. Now, if you have a situation where there is not a designated personal representative of the estate, then the court can appoint one on behalf of the beneficiaries.
