What are the medi-cal application and eligibility requirements?

The most common requirements that people come to see elder law for are for the asset requirements. If you're a single individual, you can only have $200,000 to be eligible for Medi-cal. If you're married, you can have $119,220. There are exempt assets for Medical eligibility purposes such as a house, or a car. At OC Elder Law, what we'll do is look at your accountable assets and your exempt assets, and position you so you can be qualified for Medi-cal.
