Westland Drunk Driving
According to the MSP DUI Audit, the Westland Police Department made 424 arrests for DUI offenses, with 301 Datamaster tests, 82 blood tests, and the rest were refusals. Of these tests, 108 of them were a BAC number over 0.17, which could lead to charges for a Michigan High BAC Super Drunk offense. There were also arrests made by the Wayne County Sheriff, Michigan State Police, and other police departments within this jurisdiction.
The two judges at the Westland court split the cases with Judge Cicirelli handling 177 drunk driving cases, and Judge Mcconnell handling 178 drunk driving cases. It appears there were zero acquittals, 32 dismissals and the rest were plea agreements.
