Threats to Commit a Crime - A Massachusetts Guide

“HE THREATENED ME!!” No. No, he probably didn’t. At least not in the legal sense of the word, “threat.” In Massachusetts, making threats to commit a crime is a criminal offense (Massachusetts General Law c. 275, s. 2). However, the legal definition of a threat is narrower than you might think.
