Should I Represent Myself In Court?

Could you represent yourself in court? Yes. The law allows anyone to appear “pro se,” which is legalese for “on one’s behalf.” Therefore, while an attorney is not technically necessary, you must understand the odds are against you, if you are pro se. Here are seven reasons why not to go pro se.
