Restitution in the Washington Criminal Justice System

Restitution orders are frequently entered against indigent criminal defendants and result in long-term consequences. Ambiguities or uncertainties in claims for restitution should be argued and explored. Whether the State has complied with applicable deadlines should also be explored.
