According to the MSP DUI Audit, the Redford Township Police Department made 121 arrests for DUI offenses, with 75 Datamaster tests, 22 blood tests, and the rest were refusals. Of these tests, 38 of them were a BAC number over 0.17, which could lead to charges for a Michigan High BAC Super Drunk offense. There were also arrests made by the Wayne County Sheriff, Michigan State Police, and other police departments within this jurisdiction.
The two judges at the Redford Township court split the cases with Judge Karen Khalil handling 62 drunk driving cases, and Judge Charlotte L. Wirth handling 56 drunk driving cases. It appears there were zero acquittals, one dismissal and the rest were plea agreements, which show that other attorneys are simply not challenging cases enough at this court.
