Misdemeanor Expungement of criminal convictions in Montana

As of October 1, 2017 the State of Montana now allows for a procedure by which a prior misdemeanor criminal conviction can be permanently expunged from your permanent record. This requires a Petition filed in Court and you only get 1 lifetime opportunity at it, so hiring an experienced attorney to complete this process is vital to your success. Successful petitions will have all records from the incident destroyed and the Montana Department of Justice records removed. It is a brand new start.

This can help people that have run into problems with work, housing, stigma or other problems due to an old conviction.
