Minors and Alcohol Crimes in Florida

The National Minimum Drinking Age Act (Title 23 U.S.C. Section 158) established penalties for any state allowing people under the age of 21 to purchase or publicly possess alcoholic beverages. Florida has some exceptions for minors, but also has additional laws for other alcohol-related offenses.
