MICHIGAN NO-FAULT INSURANCE CHANGES
Michigan No-Fault insurance law has gone into effect on July 1, 2020. The new insurance law involves consumer selection of Michigan No-Fault Automobile Insurance Coverages to help protect their families.
Personal Protection Insurance Benefits SelectionConsumers should select unlimited personal protection insurance benefits and coordinate with health insurance coverage. Personal protection insurance coverage provides medical and rehabilitation, attendant care, wage loss and household replacement service coverage, which is generally not covered by health insurance.
Liability Insurance Coverage SelectionConsumers should select $250,000/$500,000 liability coverage and the same level of overage for Uninsured Motorist and Underinsured Motorist optional Coverages. These coverages protect you and your family members when you hurt someone or when someone hurts who in a car accident.
