Learn about one of the biggest mistakes that you can make at the scene of an accident

If you've been involved in a serious CT accident and your motor vehicle has received significant damage you will probably be in shock and you will be glad that you are alive. So when the police officer asks you if you have been injured, your immediate response-unless you have a body part hanging from you, a bone sticking out of your skin or if you are bleeding profusely-is to say "no." The better questions that need to be answered are: are you experiencing any pain?; or is something not feeling right? The best course of action is to err on the side of caution so make sure that you are taken by ambulance to the nearest hospital emergency room so that you can be checked out and advised as to your medical situation so you can get the proper medical care and treatment otherwise, the police accident report will indicate that you were not injured when in fact you may have only said that because you were in shock and wanted to go home.
