What should I do if the police call and ask for my child to be interviewed?
Do not do it before consulting an attorney. There may come a time when the juvenile is presented for an interview, but doing so without counsel can be fatal to the case.
The Intake Interview
The intake interview is perhaps the most crucial part of the process whereby a juvenile enters the Court system. Preparing for this interview with an attorney who has attended these interviews and is intimately aware of the questions prior to the interview is indispensable.
