Their website is http://www.padisciplinaryboard.org/
Click on the Link "Look Up An Attorney"
Once you click on the link "Look Up An Attorney," you will be able to enter the attorney's last name (or alternative information if you don't possess that information) and find the attorney's record on line.
This record will give you the attorney's license number, date of admission to practice in PA, current active status, official address and whether that attorney has received an official public discipline. If the attorney has been officially disciplined, there will be a link on the "Look Up An Attorney Page" that will allow you to to review a copy of the Disciplinary Board report on that case at the web site of the Administrative Office of the Pennsylvania Courts.
The "Consumer Information" link will also provide you with many options about researching the licensing status of your attorney or one you may be considering hire.
What if you have further questions about your attorney's conduct?
If you click on the "Consumer Information" link, you will be given many resources about what to do if you have questions about your attorney's conduct.
Remember, don't feel intimidated about asking questions and seeking information. The law should be working for you not against you. And by law you are entitled to competent representation.
