Informed Consent

Posted by attorney Sandra Neuman

Attorney Veronica Richards discusses informed consent and liver transplants. Informed consent is a type of medical malpractice case where a person elects to have a procedure and is not told about the risks or the doctor's experience. Liver transplants are being done where they take a part of a healthy person and transplant it to another person. Many times the risks are not spelled out for the healthy person who is donating their liver.
