The Austin Texas Community Tax Centers prepares taxes for free for individuals and families who make less than $55,000 annually. If there are more than four people in your household, then your income eligibility increases by $5,000 for each additional family member.

The Community Tax Centers assists with ITIN applications and ITIN renewals.

The following ITINs must be renewed:

– ITINs with middle digits 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, or 82 must be renewed before you file for any year. – ITINs that have not been used for any of the past three years (e.g. 2015, 2016, and 2017) must be renewed before you file for any year.
