A few pointers on how to successfully complete probation, and how to get early termination
Have a good attitude
Smile and be glad when you see your probation officer. Your PO sees many people everyday, and most of them will let the PO know they are not happy to be there. Let the PO see he how he has helped you, which will make the PO feel good about his job, and also make the PO feel good about you.
Do everything that is required, and on time, is also very important. Community Supervision has a lot of programs and requirements. These programs and requirements can be overwhelming if the probationer falls behind. A probationer that does everything on time will also have quick meetings with their PO. If you are not a problem client, the PO will get used to you and can get you on your way in minutes. The more issues you have, the longer the PO will need to meet with you.
How to get Early Termination of Community Supervision
Make your PO happy as outlined above and ask for his recommendation for early termination of community supervision. When a motion for Early Termination is filed in the sentencing court, the Court will contact your PO, and request that his file be sent to the Court. It is possible to get an early termination without the PO's recommendation, but the Court is far more likely to grant the motion if the PO is not opposed. Once your PO tells you to file, hire a local attorney to file your motion, and get a ruling from the Court on your Motion for Early Termination of Community Supervision.
