Things to Consider when served with a Protective Order and/or Peace Order

The burden of proof for Protective Orders and Peace Orders have been lowered to a "preponderance of the evidence". This standard is much easier to reach than "clear and convincing evidence". Thus, consider if you want to move forward without legal counsel.
