More likely than not, anything you do on your work computer is your employer's property. Ditto for anything your send over your company email, on your company paid for cell phone, messaging service etc...Somewhere buried in the legal jargon of what you signed when you started work or in the employee handbook is probably a clause giving your employer carte blanche to spy on any of the aforementioned devices. If you want to disparage your boss, or vent about your job, do it on your own time - or at least in a medium that doesn't leave a recording.
Follow Procedures to the Letter
Silly rules are still rules, and in a world of "at-will" employment, where you can be fired at anytime for any reason or no reason (except specifically prohibited reasons such as because of your race), nitpicky technical violations of your employer's rules can lead you to the unemployment line, or completely undermine your damages claim in a lawsuit. Know your employee handbook, don't use your sick days for any reason other than that you are sick, and while you can question work rules, you still have to follow them.
Be Polite and Specific
Telling the head of HR "my supervisor is discriminating against me because I'm a woman" is much more effective than telling the head of HR "John is an a**hole". You'll get more respect, a better response, and you'll make sure you've said enough to protect your rights instead of getting carried away and not being specific.
