How is child support calculated in Florida?

CHILD SUPPORT ATTORNEY FORT MYERS/NAPLES | CHILD SUPPORT CALCULATOR

Child support is calculated in Florida by using the child support guideline. The child support guidelines use the net income of each parent and add it together, and once they get that total amount, they go down the list to figure out how many children that you have together. Where the two point meets, that is the financial obligation for that child. It takes into consideration, “Well, how much do I have to pay towards that entire amount?” Well, what is calculated is what is your percentage of the net income of the combined net income. Based off your percentage of the combined net income, that is what your financial obligation for that child will be.
